I dont' have a thought either way but here's a comparison.
Our resume last year when obviously we did make the tourney:
21-11 (11-7)
RPI: ~37 (Idk if the site I saw has it updated through the MSU loss or not, so I put the ~)
SOS: 33
1-50 record: 0-5
This year, assuming a loss in the SECT final would be:
20-13 (12-9)
RPI: right now it's at 67. A win over SC and UK would undoubtedly move us up a good bit, and with RPI you can move up even with a loss so playign (assuming) aTm would probably move us up a bit too. I think? At any rate, I'd guesstimate somewhere in the low 50s?
SOS: 28
1-50 record: right now it 2-6. A win over SC and UK and loss to atm would make it 1-7
Looks like not playing some extra games could keep us out. We were the 10 seed last year so who knows...maybe we can squeak our way into one of the lower seeds or play-in rounds.

Nobody anywhere near my family tree is from farther north than Virginia, and those folks were like 4 generations ago.
I had no idea "at any rate" was exclusive to the north...

Not trying to start a debate/argument... It's very common from the customers I deal with to say "at any rate" to be from Pennsylvania to the Upstate of NY.

Interesting. I didn't take offense to it, I had just never heard that before in my life.
The only thing I've ever heard that Pennsylvanians do that is exclusive to the region is call it PA.

Dawgs better wake up. Usually the team that has already played has the advantage but we don't look focused at all. Several turnovers, running our offense 35 feet from the basket, given up 4 offensive boards, Kenny will sit for 19 minutes with 2 fouls. Just about worst possible first 4 minutes.

Don't get that. Kessler not strong enough or athletic enough to rebound, SC gets 4 offensive boards in a row, Fox keeps Kessler in for 4 minutes.

DO plays great defense and gets yanked...wtf man. that has been my biggest complaint of Fox this year. he has not managed DO's minutes well at all.

Kessler continues to be worthless. If he is in, Maten, Ogbeide and Edwards had better all have the flu.

This is really, really bad basketball. A team that is very limited offensively without there best player has a size able lead cause we can't rebound or not turn the ball over.
Fox is 0-6 in the second game of the SEC tourney. Really need to break that streak but won't happen playing this way.

Yep. Crappy first half. If we can somehow keep it reasonably close by the halfway point, we'll still have a shot.
