2025 was a rough BB year. Given the players who we brought back from a WS team and the new players we brought it, we looked invincible on paper.
Then to see how terribly the season unfolded was pretty rough. Injuries, poor performance, questionable coaching ... Ya, that can greatly reduce one's passion. Fingers crossed on a rebound this season!

BB was the final straw for me. After years of having hope for our teams, now I just take it a game at a time because I expect we will find a way to ruin it at the end.

Idk what was more heartbreaking. Being preseason #1 and falling on our face multiple times. Or seemingly figuring it out and making a solid run against high caliber teams, once again renewing hope and then getting swept by Mizzou when all you had to do was win 2/3 against the worst team to ever exist in sec baseball and you’d be in the postseason

The quality of shite talk on the rant is dramatically worse than it was 10-15 years ago, and a lot of the best posters from this site’s heyday have since been banned, disappeared or unfortunately died.
With respect to this board, it became so damn depressing during the end of Sumlin’s tenure and through most of the Jimbo tenure. It effectively became the 247 board with less inside info, just an absolute beating of negativity.

Thanks Sarge. I remembered the passing of Finest and Sarge, but I thought someone commented on one more name (a name that immediately reminded me of the butthole bet).
