In 2012, MacIntyre went 10-2 at San Jose State. TRUE.

Your fact check on the school was valid. Your fact check on the record was an epic fail.

You didn't say San Jose State though. So you wuz wrong. No need to fact check the record when you don't even know who he has coached.

Also, at you pumping a guy that we all know you'd NEVER in a million years give 4 years to turn things around.

If we had a few seasons like he started at CU you'd be vomiting shite all over the board like "Mike MacIntyre won a SHITTY PAC 12 DIVISION. The ONLY good team was USC and he LOST. The only reason their D was any good was JIM LEAVITT who probably was the real HC since the turn around started when he got to CU in year 3 of Mac. No coach who loses to HAWAII is fit to coach Texas A&M." etc etc etc etc.

Having actually lived in Colorado during the Katie Hnida/Gary Barnett fiasco and the University President's mission to destroy the athletic department, I know how difficult a rebuilding job is at Colorado.

They and Wisconsin have consistently been difficult to attract coaching talent to due to the restrictions the State places on assistant coaching salaries.

Plus, MacIntyre has done something in his career that Sumlin will never accomplish: Win a conference title.

I'd be happy with him too, but didn't he get fired from South Florida for punching one of his own players?

Who gives a shite where you lived? You'd still come up with all kinds of reasons to hate him if he had the same 3 years at A&M that he started with at both his other coaching stops. Making up ridiculous reasons w/twisted facts to melt over multiple threads is your drug.

Next year is a wash regardless of who coaches.

What if Mora gets fired at UCLA? Any chance Sumlin goes there?

Officially it was more that he lied about it and interfered w/the investigation asking players and coaches to back his story. At least that was USF's version of the events.

I'd fire fat Chavis and hire him to be the DC right now if I had the scratch.

Then if the team bottomed out early in the season he'd get the interim HC tag with a chance to coach his way to the job long term.

It's far more realistic that he takes the Notre Dame job.
