Texas once again lucked out and got to play a team w/o their starting QB. TAMC physically dominated an Arkansas team that surprisingly was unable to move the ball the vast majority of the game. TCU started out hot and then pissed away the game against West Virginia even though they were given multiple chances to take over. Texas State went up 42-10 at half on Southern Miss and then seemed to shut down mentally until deep into the 4th quarter nearly letting USM back into it before scoring late. SMU was able to cruise to a easy win over Charlotte even though they made enough mistakes it would have bitten them in the arse against a better opponent. Houston/Texas Tech was back and forth for a half until the Red Raiders pulled away in the second half further putting Holgorsen's job in danger. Rice was able to take down East Carolina w/their defense holding firm late in the game. Baylor had an all time comeback on Gus Malzahn and UCF who were up on the Bears 35-7 in the 3rd and 35-10 going into the 4th. North Texas continues to be able to move the ball but stop nobody. UTEP lost in an ugly and dull game against La Tech. Sam Houston blew a 21-7 halftime lead over Jacksonville State and then lost a 28-20 lead w/just over a minute left letting Jacksonville State drive 75 yards in just 58 seconds.

Of course, the horns get to play their last year in the Big 12 the same season TCU, Baylor, Tech, and Houston all look like shitty teams. Also get a crappy Iowa State team and play Kstate and BYU at home.
