Sips beat the breaks off Baylor. Ags handled Auburn. TCU won the frat bro bowl over SMU in convincing fashion. Texas State came back from form a 17-0 halftime deficit to beat Nevada by 11. Tech lost a close game to WVU. Rice face planted against South Florida. Houston crushed Sam Houston whose offense continues to be unable to do anything. A very disappointing UTSA was over-matched at Tennessee. UTEP offense showed some signs of life which gets them out of last place.

Last night Sam Houston blew a 21 point second half lead against Jacksonville State to lose 35-28 in OT. Rich Rod made adjustments that Sam Houston HC KC Keeler just could not match. The Sam offense is just brutally bad and it's wasting the efforts of a decent defense.

Looking at Baylor, they have a really good chance of starting off 1-4 and if that happens their odds of going bowling go way down. Not sure what Baylor boosters will think of that but it's possible Aranda could be available to be our DC next year if Jimbo can right the ship.

I think they have to hold onto Aranda, big 12 money is about to be reduced, they are going to start looking towards how to be more financially responsible
