Texas FBS Power Rankings (Week 4)

Sips were in a dogfight w/Wyoming even if the score looks like a beat down as it was just a 10-10 game at one point in the 4th and the Cowboys were playing w/their backup QB. A&M whipped ULM but it was mostly better talent winning out than it was a good scheme and tight play. TCU dominated Houston and it’s starting to look like Holgorsen is not going to finish the season for the Coogs. SMU took apart Prairie View w/ease. Rice dominated Texas Southern though their Houston win lost some luster. Texas State could have scored 100+ on Jackson had they wanted. Tech beat up on Tarleton as expected though they were pretty uninspiring after the first quarter. UTSA laid a huge egg vs Army and looked completely unprepared to stop them. North Texas edged La Tech and continued to play poorly on defense. Baylor looked sluggish against Long Island and didn’t seem to want yo be there. UTEP continues to be just awful on offense. Sam Houston was off this week.
