Talk about low expectations. Lets not finish in the last 2 spot (looking at you Mizzou & Auburn). Aggie baseball makes me depressed.
I think I officially want a new baseball coach. I love what RC has done and his pitching expertise comes out year after year, but enough is enough.

I'm starting to agree. I was hopeful after Wacha/Strip/Naquin etc left we would build on that momentum but it's looking grim.

for comparison purposes after 40 games:
2013 ---> 22-18, 7-10 in the SEC
2014 ---> 23-17, 7-10 in the SEC
at this point last year, the 2013 club rallied and made the postseason in large part because the Ags had 2 conference series left vs. non-regional teams (Mizzou & Tenn) and A&M went 5-1 to boost their conference mark.
however in 2014 the 4 remaining series are against 3 regional teams (LSU, Ole Miss, State) and 1 bubble team (Arkansas). Going to be much more difficult to reach 13 or 14 conference wins

WOW apparently there was a terrible ruling that ruined our no hitter. Should have been an error, but the Rice guys won't change it. Ray had a no no into the 5th inning.
In other news Bratsen moves into 2nd place all time in stolen bases for an Aggie passes Chuck Knoblauch.
AND we scored again 6-0.

This shot us back into the low 50s in RPI. A shocking series win this weekend puts us back safety in the tourney IMO.

let's not go that far. It's definitely helpful but there are a lot of games left. We have 3 more SEC series after this and right now we're not even safely in the SEC tourney
