A little cold and foggy but no rain or lightning.
Melton needs to stick with DH with Logan available this year.

I'll be at Olsen tonight. Hope it stays dry. I'm 2nd row between home and the dugout. I'll be wearing the white and maroon cap.
Sorry needed a reason to post this picture that @AggieSoftball just posted.

Gotta have wind to be Candlestick. I loved watching games at that place! I regret that I never saw one in person.

Ok I was on the wrong station
I couldn't get it to change stations. I had some high school softball game broadcast and no matter what station I chose, it wouldn't change
Home now so no matter

Btw, I was wondering who our midweek guy was going to be as it's so important for RPI. Stubblefield looks exceptional so far.
I didn't think he'd be much just because Gandy hasn't really done much. Sure looking like I'm dead wrong.

Best news of the day. Roku finally picked up ESPN3 about 3 months ago and it's so much more convenient than plugging in the laptop. The only other major conference getting an ESPN web channel is the ACC. Not surprising as they are the only other conference that ESPN owns 2nd/3rd tier. The B1G has a partial 2nd tier deal with them but the B1G with Fox owns the 3rd tier.
Mr SEC seems to use this opp to take a shot at the ACC but imo, this is huge news for them. Anyone, anywhere in the country will be able to see their 3rd tier games (as with us). And they don't have to jack around with the technology because ESPN has already gone down this path and is taking care of it.
How much gets streamed is really going to come down to how much a school wants to invest in it. Jason Cook has stated multiple times that A&M is investing $11m in production. I don't know how many schools are going to be willing to go that deep but it does suggest A&M will have a lot of webcasts

While they won’t stack up well against the new SEC Network, ESPN has announced plans to launch a number of conference-dedicated “television” channels over the internet. According to Variety, the channels will be “stocked with live events and on-demand replays” all streamed over the internet and available through Apple TV and Roku devices.

But will the quality improve? I'll believe it when I see it.

Monster tourney! RT @Joseph_Duarte The 2015 Houston College Classic field: @UHCougarBB, Texas A&M, Baylor, LSU, Mississippi State, Nebraska
Next year's field looks exciting. Quite likely it will be set up so the 3 SEC schools play the 3 others. But with A&M and LSU taking part at Enron-Minute Maid, it should have a really good turnout. Think it's a really good idea to have 3 SEC teams as we'll be more likely to stick around to watch each other.
So will this be aired on the SEC Network?
