Since the dr. (Perpetrator) is sedating me (is slipping me a roofie) I don’t think clinching is an option.

Ryan's Final Picks give us a class of 248.89 per the class calculator. Jason's class gives us 256.79.
The only difference between the class is Foster vs Waddle & Strong. Both call us getting Brown & Jackson. Both call us not getting Ingram.

I looked at that this morning
We had a bad season that followed 2 horrible season collapses, fired a coach that recruits and players loved, and had a longer than normal period of waiting without a coach and uncertainty in coaches that were recruiting
I’m not saying the class is a resounding victory but Dr RC is way off base if he calls it a L

Bama 247 article this morning on Brown. Caveat that they used some old quotes in the old article:
Quote:
Alabama didn't sign four of its commitments in the Early Signing Period in Quay Walker, Vernon Jackson, Michael Parker, and Bobby (Tre) Brown. The latter didn't even commit to the Crimson Tide until the final hours of the three-day period in December after reopening his recruitment and decommitting from Texas A&M.
Brown told BamaOnLine last month that the reason he didn't sign early was because he thought you had to have a signing ceremony to put pen to paper.
Either way, the Arlington (Texas) Lamar product's recruitment is expected to come to a close on Wednesday at 7:30 a.m. CT when he signs his National Letter of Intent.
"It's still the same," Brown said of where things stand in his recruitment.
The four-star defensive lineman took an unofficial visit to Texas A&M over the weekend, which has many thinking the Aggies have a legitimate shot to get him back in the class.
Does Brown plan to sign with Alabama on Wednesday?
"Yes sir," he said on Monday night.
Brown told BOL last month that if he were to take another visit, it would be because he got bored or wanted to see another school he hasn't seen before. That appears to be the case with the trip to College Station.
"Honestly, they really didn't have a pitch," he said of the message from the Aggies' staff. "It was just me and my friends going down and chilling and taking pictures in the uniforms. That was about it. It wasn't even really a recruitment-type thing."
Throughout the recruiting process, Brown and his mother have formed a very tight bond with Tosh Lupoi. The Tide assistant visited the family on Friday in Texas.
"When he came it wasn't no recruitment-type thing," Brown said. "We were just having fun and chilling."
There's no question that a visit to another college campus the weekend before National Signing Day is an eyebrow-raiser with flip talk abuzz on Twitter and message board communities.
What would Brown say to all the talk surrounding his recruitment?
"Mind their business," he said.
Brown said that one of the main reasons he committed to the Tide in December was that Alabama was established he knew what he would be walking into. Texas A&M on the other hand is in a transition phase.
"Everything, really," Brown said of what keeps him comfortable with his commitment to the Tide.
At 6-foot-4, 282 pounds, Brown is rated the No. 17 defensive tackle and the No. 182 overall player in the country, per the industry-generated 247Sports Composite.

The article is recent, but some of the quotes are from the last.

Yeah, If he’s quoted as saying he is signing with Bama as of last night then it’s over he is signing with the tide

Are you telling me recruits are 100% honest in these interviews and on twitter and don't mislead people?
Why do you think all our sauces are confident still even after he said all that stuff?

I honestly have no idea what to expect from most of these kids. We've never had a NSD like this

Brauny saying smoke around Waddle to Bama building

Sucks, but not unexpected. Now we just need to make sure to flip Jackson and Brown. While I don't know if Brown's quotes are true or not, you'd prefer them not to come out. Signing day is going to be nuts.

Perroni saying we are in pretty good shape with Foster, and if we get Foster we get Tank Jenkins. Supposedly he is between us and OM

I’m just saying, not a lot to be optimistic about if 2days before signing day he’s telling straight out that he is signing with Bama

I remember kenny young (the LB that went to UCLA) and Lorenzo phillips (the LB that went to LSU) both told at least one A&M reporter they were signing, just a day or two before NSD.
