Brewster had an opportunity to be closer to his extended Family in Chapel Hill. He's 58 or 59. I'm guessing UNC will be his last coaching gig.

I dug around some of the Mizzou sites. It's seems that Mizzou tried to match the TAMU offer and he declined it. Did HS ball in Arlington. Played at OU, knocked around the NFL for a few seasons. Spent time coaching HS, GA, 3 years as Mizzou's TE coach. As quick as the hire was made I would presume Jimbo has been watching Joe Jon for a while.

As a Mizzou guy, this guy is unfortunately a better fit with you guys but he's legit. You guys might not follow us as closely but our TE depth is ridiculous, like three deep. Albert O is going to the NFL and the two behind him are more than capable to carry his workload. He can definitely develop and I think he can recruit better in Texas.
