They already sealed off the places that they lived in The Zone(North End Zone) so they cant stay there anymore. I think the thing the bat lovers would like is some sort of habitat for them near the stadium. The only way to get rid of their smell is to get them out of the stadium unfortunately.

I kinda think the bats are cool ... makes y'all a little unique. I would like to see a habitat as well for them and might become a defacto mascot for y'all in time.
But if the smell is as bad as you say then I would be doing that asap!
Hope y'all are able to accommodate them somehow and fix up Spence park during the renovation/addition ... it seems like y'all have something real nice then.

Its nice to see a great tailgating atmosphere like The Grove(probably the best in college football) in our conference. It gives our planners something to aspire to achieve for our stadium and atmosphere.
Overall the University is trying to get everything up to SEC standards and its nice to see.

In reality we set the standard.

agreed. The SEC is commissioning a study on fan experience and this to me is the primary thing we can do to improve ours.
The money is there to do this right. And we have good visionaries running things at the moment. So I'd be shocked if we didn't have people going to all the venues this fall specifically to find what works and what doesn't for tailgating. I would shamelessly steal any idea from anyone to put together plans for Spence. Building a strong long-term tailgating atmosphere is a great investment because it will bring in a lot of money to the university

We have a pretty good way to go. I think we will be close once we get the Stadium done in 2015.

We will have the unquestionably nicest stadium in the league. That is a bit better than close.

On a scale of 0-10 its probably a 7 and a half. Its bad enough that most visitors mention it and that's a problem.
Being near our war bats is part of the charm of sitting in the Zone, and I see the smell as just another form of our home-field advantage.

I've never noticed the smell of bat poo, and only twice have I even noticed a bat

I would be shocked and disapointed if a dollar of university or TMF funds was spent traveling the South to learn how to tailgate good.
Although it would be fun to conduct that research.

I was mocking the stupidity of the idea.

um, why would you need to learn how to tailgate? You'd be looking for set-up. This isn't for us, the fans. It's information to create a good tailgating environment. There are things that work and things that don't. Some things sound cool but fall flat. Others sound dumb but are resounding successes. Before spending money redesigning Spence, it would be really silly not to take a look around at what other people are doing.
Should we create berms/flatten? Sidewalks/trails? How many restrooms? (ffs, they better not need damn port-a-potties out there bc we have too few) How large are the lots? What are the rules for various things and what are the problems they experience? How is technology changing and what can we do to be out front? Wifi? Permanent dishes people can share? Should the university consider wiring electrical outlets?
If we decide to do something off-the-wall like create a waterpark and chlorinate the retention pond, it may be worthwhile to go study waterparks. The point is this shouldn't be just another place to set up your tailgate. The goal here is to create an environment to make gameday more than just a game. It's a brave new world brother. And a parking lot with a bunch of RVs ain't the future.

I agree with this.
