Well I'm sorry that's how you feel. It was not my intention to offend so I'm sorry.

As to the comparison it was just a natural comparison: you and state are the same colors and both are the agg schools, this is not a slight but an observation. I know by personal accounts y'all as a whole are so much better than State.

Now to your experience in Oxford ... I'm shocked you had such a terrible experience. Next year you come find me at whiskey alley and I'll make sure your taken care of before & after the game. I don't think, though I might be wrong, that all the people talking about the Texas game meant that as a slight. It was just a simple fact that they did bring more people and to our fault this being the first time encountering you good folk that we really didn't know what hatred you had for the tSips. We take pride in showing visiting fans a good time so I'm very upset from your experience there ... WE ARE BETTER THAN THAT, I PROMISE!

Once again I'm sorry that you feel such as you do towards us because a whole I have felt that y'all have been a wonderful addition to the SEC and I'd take y'all over Texas 100 times over. Remember if you make it Oxford make your way to Whiskey Alley, this is easy to find, & my tent is right next to it on the left; I'll show how real Rebels have fun and treat their guests! Finally as I have stated before I hope not only for our sake but y'alls as well that we skull drag those tSips in DKR and allow us a little ammo to talk even more shite to them.

Gig'em Aggies and good day to y'all

P.S. other Aggies reading this I hope y'all didn't have the same experience in Oxford and if you did please feel free to find me next year as I extend my offer to y'all as well.

Two biggest surprises last year - Bam had the nicest fans and Ole Miss fans were the only school that had fans that weren't very welcoming.

I might have to go find you this year and shake your hand. You seem like a good guy

Think I'll make it to Ole Miss and LSU this year and maybe Arkansas. Not gonna make it to Mizzou. No desire to go.

Please do find me. Also I will say from how you described us you either ran into OM from Jackson, MS who think they are better than everyone else or Texas kids that talked more shite than anybody when you and tSips came.

I know this because my closet friends are from Houston and while I was saying hello and welcoming everyone to the grove they were in the tent next to me yelling all kinds of nonsense at y'all & the sips when you two came.

Yes, Texas transplants. It's amazing how many Texas kids are at LSU and Ole Miss

I really enjoy Internet snack talk with other fan bases. But when I meet fans in real life I'm always friendly and complimentary. Small ribbing in good fun at best. Some fans (of all schools) take the Internet trash talking to tailgating. I just don't prefer that. I like to have a good time.

I'm actually really curious to see Bama fans this year. Last year they were probably so nice before the game because they weren't threatened and so nice afterwards because they were in shock

Very fair assessment of Bama but their football fans know and love football so you will see that love for the sport overcome so of the misguided hate.

I'm the same way as you when it comes to all other fanbases not named LSU, MSU, Texas Tech & Ohio State.

These people can just GFY themselves for all I care. I will not go out of my way to this opinion known to them but it still is my belief. Sorry I'm not sorry.

Couldn't make that top 10% at HP so A&M and Texas were out of the running so she got stuck at some second rate school. (seriously just joking) Trust me, I'd rather be paying in state tuition even if she had to go to the tSips. That said, she loves OM so all is well... wish the grades were better and the partying was less. I do love Oxford.

Hotty Toddy - Gig'em... fun times ahead.

10% rule is funneling kids left & right to Ole Miss and LSU. I personally loved at Ole Miss because of our out state reputation. When you go to school there most of the people aren't from Mississippi but all over the country but mainly you southern states.

All in jest I know if we can't laugh together at each over what do we have?

I was always told that OM out of state tuition was FAR CHEAPER than any in state at aTm & TU? Or do you just want her home so you can watch over her?

I'm glad she does it is a wonderful place when you get to know it, very different from the rest of MS.

I hope she wizens up for you sake as well but I'm sure she will ... we all do at some point.

Rather her be out on her own...did a quick check - tuition 12 hours in state at A&M $4,665 - non resident Ole Miss - $8,814. Then theres the gas to and from. I'd guess everything else is equal...books, housing, etc...although I'd believe the cost to live would be highter at UT.

Me too...happened to her sister at OU ...finally wizened up.

I'm in the process of getting my PLM and I'm looking to work my way into an in-house landman position ... I know a few people down there that are doing this and one of my best friends father has his own oil company and suggested that I give this a go.

If you need any help, let me know. I'm in the industry and have many friends back home in Houston that are also in the industry. Most all of them work for an operator, like myself. A few are landmen. I could at least see that your resume and cv get put directly in front of the right hiring manager if you happen to be interested in a specific open position with a company in which I have a friend that works there. Always good to meet fellow O&G brethren

That's awesome ... I'm so glad to meet another person in the industry, I have always said the more people you know the better off you'll be and from my small experience in O&G this really holds true.

I would be VERY MUCH APPRECIATE YOUR HELP if that's okay with you. I have a few more classes to finish up before it's all said and done, but I'd love to be able to send you my resume and info because even though I know a few people my contacts in Houston and in the O&G are very limited. I'd be very thankful if you were to pass a little info along for me. I mean all I can ask for is a open door to walk through, I'm not asking for you to sell me to them ... I know I can sell myself, I'm confident in that.

I'm very interested in working in the O&G/energy industry & I hope one day to work my way into one of the larger companies and it also doesn't hurt that the financial security in the job is great as well.

Boy do I hope so and thanks again.
