That fricker turned out to be a serious arse clown and Kennedy is cleaning up that fricker's mess.

Let me guess, you were one of those who blamed 77-0 on RC Slocum?

Turgeon, for ll his faults, was a much better gameday coach than Kennedy and I dont even think that highly of him. You're spouting the Billy Liucci/Taylor Hamm line here.

The injuries and lost talent from last year's squad, plus the adjustment...ignore all that shite.

Ignore the Arkansas game. Ignore the complete turn around in play. Ignore that all that shite. Let's just focus on the shitty year where EVERYBODY, including the coach, had some sort of health issue.

Now I am not sunshine pumping by any means, but for frick's sake. Are you gonna get on here and eat your words if Kennedy gets this team to the dance?

1. Billy Gillispie only had 7 scholarship players in 2004-2005. He didn't lose to Rice or Southern at home. Billy Kennedy ended a 67-game nonconference home winning streak by losing to RICE (a game in which we led by 7 at halftime and Dash Harris led all scorers with 14 points).

2. If Kennedy gets us to the dance, that would mean that the team did the following:

a. No further bad losses (i.e. sweep Georgia, Auburn, Mississippi State, South Carolina, Vanderbilt, and Tennessee)

b. At least 1 RPI Top 25 conference win (Florida, Missouri, and/or Ole Miss)

c. Have at least a split with LSU, Arkansas (check), and Alabama

d. Win a MINIMUM of 22 games (12 conference games) + 1-2 wins in the conference tournament.

If he somehow manages to do all that, and we make the dance, then you have reason to rub it in our faces.

HOWEVER, this is January. March is a LONG way away.

Sure, but if this team makes the dance it would qualify as the biggest surprise in the history of modern Aggie sports. Moreso than our football season this year, moreso than Gillespie's turnaround, anything.

What this team lacks in talent in makes up for in poor coaching and execution. We beat a poor Arkansas team and one of the worst Kentucky teams in the last 50 years and suddenly that makes up for the absolute embarrassment that has been Kennedy's tenure?

We might make the NIT, but the dance isnt realistic even for the biggest homers. Florida is going to likely run us out of the gym on Thursday and everything will be the way it was before conference play started.

I'm pretty sure if Turgeon had an Elston Turner go off for 40 points, he would have beaten Kentucky as well.

Oh, and who do you think was responsible for Turner's transfer? Kennedy? Turner had already been on campus for a full year before Turgeon left.

I just outlined how we could make the dance. The likelihood is less than 10%. That's better than the less than .001% chance we had after the Southern game.

Fri, Nov 9 vs #3 Kentucky* L72-69

At home to the team that Kennedy just beat ON THE ROAD, so I would say they are, at a bare arse minimum, equal and Maryland hasn't played ANYBODY. He is the one who made all these bullshite promises to Branch, not Kennedy.

Pretty much this.

The SEC is sorry and will get no more than four (maybe five if Kentucky turns it around) teams in the dance. We'll need to probably win 9-10 more conference games to even be in the picture. 9-10 wins wont do it like it did in the Big 12.

Could you show me on the Maryland State map where The Barclays Center is or are you seriously that fricking stupid?

Maryland also has no bad losses. They have 2 losses. Home loss to Florida State (RPI 65) and "home" (according to Kaiser, the Geography Major) loss to Kentucky in the season opener.

We beat Kentucky because Elston Turner couldnt miss. He hit about 8 contested shots, many of them deep threes.

In other words, our scheme wasnt getting him open. He was just on fire and carried us to one win. He cant do that very often.

So, when they win it's because the players do well, but when they lose, it's all on Kennedy, right?

THis is why you are a dumbass. I know it's hard to accept, but you need to start. Being a dumbass can be delt with if you admit you have a problem.

You know, someone who thinks that Maryland's home arena is the same place that the Brooklyn Nets play shouldn't be calling anyone a dumbass.

Not always, but if you know what you're looking for it isnt particuarly hard to figure the source of individual wins and losses.

Elston Turner against UK = Mike Singletary against us in 2009...and we beat them on the road.

Seriously, just stop...you can't even get your own rants right.

Well...yeah.

Turner bailed out a lot of possession with incredible shots. Remember Singletary against us in the tournament several years back? Knight was a horrible coach, but a player can win you a game in basketball.

The only thing we can truly credit Kennedy with is improved effort, but I'm not ready to crown him for that after a season and a half of quitting and lack of hustle.

Eating Crow = NCAA berth

2-0 in conference could just as easily equal 2-16.
