Delay of game/Timeout Issues

We are too deep into the season to continue having multiple issues in a game getting the ball snapped before the play clock expires or we have to burn a timeout.
Did Jimbo have this problem at FSU or is this just a year 1 transition problem?
It would have been nice to have all of our timeouts for the last possession.

Wouldn't have mattered, as long as #11 is behind center.

Mentioned that in the first half to some friends as well. Way too many times Jimbo having to bail him out with a timeout and how it would come to bite us in a close game sooner or later. Very poor clock management.
