I really do. You have shown enough of true yourself on here for me to know I like and respect you as a person. I offended you once and I have regretted it since. I owe you at least a beer at some point.

thanks for the thoughtful post that you've now edited

Good, I really hoped you caught that. If we had PMing on this forum we could discuss such things outside of sports threads. I didn't edit because I didn't mean it, I edited it to avoid comment.

Stay strong Sarge.

Sorry to hear that Sarge, hope he went painlessly. I know it's hard for people with faith when someone without it dies. I was still a believer back when my grandfather died without ever believing. I cried myself to sleep several times.

I'm not much help now other than to say, if you believe that, you never know what happened in someone's last moments. Maybe there is a last moment when God reveals himself to people.

I hope so too, I'm hearing he passed alone, was found at his house 3 days later. He was a good man.

So true. Just goes to show you how fragile life is, which is why we must appreciate every moment. I am glad you are going to see your daughter today.

Sounds like our locker room is the opposite of SEC rant. Awesome.

Sorry to hear that, Sarge. I have had wondrous luck and haven't lost anybody close to me outside of a great grandparent 20 years ago. I dread the day it happens. Stay strong man.
