Brandon "Slim" Williams Question

I was wondering why he hasn't quite lived up to the hype? Is it merely the fact that we have a lot of backs and he just doesn't get the carries? Has he been hurt? You just don't really hear much from him. Hype probably isn't the correct word, but I think a lot of us here expected him to have a really solid year. Just curious.

I was wondering the same thing. He just has been less than impressive so far. Not sure if it is his fault or the coaches.

His injury really fricked with his understanding of the offense. He should be better next year

Is next year his last year of eligibility?

I believe he has two years left.
On the original topic, I know he had huge fumble problems, especially in practice, when he was in Norman. Not sure if that's holding back,

Some backs need more touches to get going. Brandon did well when he was fed the ball more during trash time on one of the games, I forgot. I feel like Trey Williams has not lived up to the hype, but not in a sense of owning up to the perceived talent. More of just not getting enough touches/carries. Give that guy 10-12 carries a game and he will break a couple. What an amazing player; he will blow it up next year.

I fully expect TW3 to be our MVP on offense next year. Hopefully Williams can step up and fill a bigger role alongside Trey and Tra

I think all the rbs are going to have better seasons next year only because I feel we are going to run the ball more. I know Arky isn't great this year but we proved we can run the ball in that game.

I agree we will run the ball more, especially early on while the new QB is adjusting.

He'll improve. I think if he can put on 10 more lbs of muscle, he'll be more likely to remain in on passing situations. He is Too light to protect the passer on a blitz right now.
