1. Find a way to fire Dumbo for cause - not likely, but worth at least looking at…
2. Hire an “assistant head coach/OC” and let Dumbo know that we are redefining the role “head coach” and keep him on a few years to reduce the buyout - this may be the best option?
3. Fire the sumbich - a bitter pill and a lot of money, but the man has no respect anywhere and that is going to crush recruiting and risk the transfer portal - this may be what y’all need to do
Whatever happens; y’all need to stay ahead of Texas
Finding the right coach, or a better coach who is respected; right now, or at least before the Dildo ‘Sips join the conference seems like the right thing to do…

I'm all in with firing Fisher. However, this is A&M, and it took us two years to fire Sumlin after it was apparent he wouldn't work out. I'm sure the idiot will be given another chance

Given a chance? This isn't a job, it's a hobby with a hell of an income.
The upside of a guaranteed contract is it keeps the coach from being a booster fluffer. And it slows overreaction. We really won't know if that second thing is good till next year.
