Knight was never known as a great passer, but he held his own and was consistently inconsistent (if that makes sense). You knew what you had with Knight every week and his running ability was always the difference maker. It's no secret Hubenack is a better passer, but he's not a great passer either. Hubenack takes away the read option threat that allowed us to beat Arkansas. Doubt he would have ran for all those TDs Knight ran for during the Arkansas game.

If he lights up Ole Miss, it won't mean squat. But if he can do damage on the ground, then you could have an argument, but don't think he fools anyone. Dude's just a little slow.

Knight was the smart choice to start the season. But the offensive line may respond betternow that they have some games in them. Hubes might be the man for the job now.

For a man of science Roger you apply emotion over logic way too frequently

If Hubenak was the significantly better passer all along, it's perfectly logical to question the decision to play the least accurate A&M QB since the early 90s.

That's one way to (hope for) look at it. Our center just has to get his shite together.

Roger, we all assumed we would need a qb that was very good at scrambling before the season started since we anticipated not being very good at a. Protecting the passer and b. Weak at the running back position

Things that have changed

Our offensive line has more experience and we have proven talented backs
