But Amarillo is leaving Lubbock in the dust, pun intended. I might find myself living in Amarillo in 15 years, it’s really catching a stride

Good. Lubbock should never ever have nice things, they don't deserve it. Tourism in that city is limited towards Tech's stadium. Buildings got look like literal dogshit and have the same color too. They've been boasting that they have the US Postal Service there

On Amarillo: I might plan to move there too, city has been growing, I think it's the biggest city in the Panhandle. From what I've heard, it's affordable and beautiful. They get TIA's seal of approval for sure

Amarillo and beautiful in the same sentence . Their only redeemable feature is that they're close to Palo Duro Canyon, but even that can get old quick. Amarillo is practically one giant truck stop. Lubbock is even worse.

All of the Llano Estacado area is a depressing shithole. It's flat and wide open with a depressing "dead-end" lifestyle. It is full of roughnecks and O&G field techs that have a lot of money to spend but nowhere to spend it at. The good parts of Texas end west of the Texas Hill Country.

Then you haven’t been in a while. It’s getting nicer things and nicer neighborhoods

It’s become a home base for Texans that like to RV in the Rockies

Weazel, I was joking about the beautiful part, not the affordabilty part

No but seriously, Amarillo has gotten better as a city, better roads, better buildings/neighborhoods and all that jazz

This is why I laugh when TTU fans try to say the new Big 12 is good for travel trips

They have Stillwater, Lubbock and Waco all in the same conference

Good morning Ags , felt this was a good place to ask since we have scholars

Does anyone know what they've been doing with the Texas World Speedway since it closed?

If you look at Google maps, it looks like they're building a new home subdivision where the southern part of the track once was.

Yeah, that's what happens when you're the World Champion, I suppose

Apparently, people in the Texans org want to get Jimmy G. I think the plan is for Jimmy G to start this season and next season the rookie QB (I'm guessing Bryce Young) can start. They have 2 top 15 draft picks, and $40 Million in cap space. They could really do some serious damage, and I'm guessing the FO trusts Demeco more than Lovie. I'm pretty sure Jimmy is an FA too so the Texans really have to convince him to join.

I just hope the Texans won't frick up in the draft

The NBA race in the West is ramping up, and the mavs are sandwiched between it all.

We have an offense, just need a defense. Still the best team in Texas

Sorry about your Spurs Tbird, back to the cellar y'all go
