I honestly don't know how any QB is supposed to be successful with such a poor o-line. I feel bad for whoever starts the season at QB for them (likely McCown) b/c he is going to get knocked out by injury at some point.
I still don't like how they are using Johnny though. I've never understood the NFL mentality of forcing square pegs into round holes simply b/c that's the way they've always run things.
It's like Tebow in Denver. Not that I think he is great at QB but if you are going to get a guy like that, you need to commit to building around what he does well instead of trying to force him to do things he can't. Otherwise, why the hell are you drafting a guy who isn't a pocket QB if what you are going to run is an offense that requires a pocket QB? I dunno. Sometimes it seems like NFL coaches are so risk adverse that they are giving up before the season even starts b/c they are too scared to go against the grain with trying something new.

as far as qbs running the ball all the time, the salary cap might be the biggest deterrent to qbs like johnny or kapernick, etc. following that would be the speed of nfl defenses.

you saw shite that I posted on the tiger rant and think that deserves banning here? That's the opposite of the TBird philosophy, from what I've gathered.
Either way, sorry you feel that way. I've never felt like I was about to be banned, and started the Kirk thread out of genuine curiosity. I'm intrigued by WRs at aTm and couldn't believe my eyes when I saw that Kirk was set to start over some other good WRs.

not true. He has told me multiple times he does not care what I say on other boards, as long as I keep it civil here. If you think my posts here are worth banning, that's different. But shane is right, posting about posting is getting old. Hence the Kirk thread. Feel free to contribute!
