He's going to have to be the guy because Sumlin has done his typically lazy, terrible job of recruiting Studham and Mond blows goats at actual quarterbacking.

I remember reading somewhere that accuracy is the one thing you really can't coach. You can coach footwork, you can coach mechanics, and this might help with accuracy some but only marginally.
Mazzone has Rivers and Rosen on his CV, but he's on record as saying Rosen chose him. Not the other way around. I'm just not sure about his QB evaluations. I'd be way more comfortable if he had more success stories to point to. Jason Campbell at Auburn isn't exactly a ringing endorsement.

All the Elite 11 guys I talked to raved about Starkle last year after he committed to A&M, but I'm not sure if we could protect a Pro-style QB.

If we actually got one that was deadly accurate we could. One that could make an LSU or Bama pay dearly for the blitz

I was mostly joking, I have said way meaner shite about LSU on the Rant (especially a ton of mean shite about Joe that I now feel in retrospect was justified).
