Aren't we moving Madubuike inside?

Agreed, but Moton should help ease that. Even though he's 2015 class, in a way we're adding 1 DT this year which is all we really needed.

Also, I've heard talk that Madubuike might even spin down to a DT when all is said and done.

I thought I read he wasn't but that would help if he does. He will still be on the smaller end if he does, between Oliver, Blacklock, Daniels, Kendell Jones and Jordan Elliott I really wish we could have landed one to plug space against the run. I know we have Moton and it sounds like he will be fine getting in, but I feel like you really have to stack depth inside to compete in the SEC and there were a lot of good DTs available in this cycle

It's fairly unlikely he'll ever enroll as his ACT was flagged for cheating

Starting to look like the texas spin machine started up a week too early.

Kids now have had a week to go home and let reality set in. That reality:

texas D has regressed since Charlie, while Chavis has Aggie D on the up and up.. BIG TIME

As bad as A&M offense was, still better than texas.

Aggie special teams >>>>>>>> t.u.

Not saying those kids will choose us instead, but texas threw all their eggs in the A&M sucks basket, and now coaches have been able to point out actual facts and statistics.

Ya, that's what I saw as well. I think only a couple days ago someone said it was just a clerical error and he should be good to go within a few weeks.

Well, we have depth now at DT. Maybe not EXCEPTIONAL depth, but good depth nonetheless.

Starters are Henderson (6'1 297) and Mack (6'0 335).

Depth includes Keke (6'3 320), Washington (6'3 285), and Walker (6'2 305).

Chevis at 6'1 280 can be a body and Madubuike is currently listed as 6'3 250.

Yeah it more makes me concerned for a couple years from now. Now we really can't afford to miss on guys next year, and it doesn't look like the crop of prospects next year is as strong

You're right though. It was a very good cycle for DT and it stings not getting at least one of them. Honestly, I really thought we were getting Giles after his OV.

Long shot, but do you think Oliver stays put at Houston come signing day?

i feel like we will have a good class next year if we can hold onto martell and he kinda seems like he depends on the coaching situation

Yeah I do. If I could pick any TX kid to add to this class though he would be it. I still can't believe he's going there

It's actually easy.

His HS coach is there, his brother is there, he's from Houston. Herman probably "promised" him that he loves Houston and won't leave.

So are yall sure it's not QD? After doing some Gigem247 investigation Hamm says it's a recruit from the Houston area and that he's coming for an official this weekend. That leaves Boyd and Davis. So its got to be Davis right?

It's still UH and he could go anywhere in the country. It's an incredible coup for them no matter how they did it
