Over the years, the Dallas metroplex has been somewhat of a pipeline for Notre Dame-bound recruits but good for him. Great program historically and always top-notch academics.

Now just don't bring Kyler with you lol

I asked that a bit ago (sort of) and was told we'd probably accept. I think the thought process is that you go beyond 3 if Chigbu wants to shut it down and the other 3 come later. But you can't turn him away now and then wait til November and have Lodge or someone go elsewhere.

On the Lodge front btw
quote:

@DamonSayles
Word from @DaMarkusLodge18: "I am at the same place I was as a sophomore. I'm not going to make any decisions until after all my visits."

quote:

?@DamonSayles
Whoa. @DaMarkusLodge18 added he's only planning to speak to a short list of reporters. Eliminating rumor-starters.

I think we may see who has a good rep and who doesn't among recruits from this.

From the 247 board

WR Kemah Siverand (Cy Ridge): "The atmosphere wasn't as hyped as some places, but it was still enjoyable seeing them work on what they have to work on."

You gotta get better and that's what practice is about, but for the most part, practice sucks for players. It's really what everyone comments on about our practice - it's still fricking practice but at least it's a fun environment

5* LB Justin Hilliard who we've been trying to recruit named a top 10 today. We aren't in it. Longshot to begin with

“A&M is my number one right now,” said Elam. “The coaching staff showed a lot of love towards me. A lot of things stood out to me. After them it is LSU and Texas.”

The recruiting experts at Shaggy have been desperately trying to convince themselves that he is just waiting for a day that will make a splash to commit to them.

They still won't quit:

Actually, we're not behind LSU, Elam just has us both behind aggie.

I know absolutely nothing about Elam's recruitment, but just based on his very limited public ocmments, I'll be shocked if he goes anywhere but A&M or LSU. The dude listed LSU on top on his way home from his tu visit

Btw, was told he may be moved around. He could probably play CB or S which is the kind of guy Joseph likes. But he may be a safety in our class (though I'm not sure where we'll eventually put him). But don't necessarily assume taking him fills a CB slot. We would take Lane, Elam, Hill, and Sheffield to get to our 6 DBs and 2 would be CBs and 2 Ss.

LSU wants him as a corner and he wants to play offense. I don't think he'll ever get that offer unless he warms up to playing defense.

Pretty formidable top 3. I remember reading Dillon attending an LSU camp or junior day or something, and this is is after he told Miles he wants to be recruited as an offensive guy... but anyway he gets there and Miles immediately introduces him to the DB coach, and Dillon is like "uhhhh yeah, ok...whatever..." and the general feeling is that it rubbed him the wrong way a little bit. And he let Miles know he's not going to be a DB, hence no offer still...

I think even if LSU offers, they have a lot of arse kissing to do even if they change their tune and agree to let him onto the offensive side of the ball.

I just think it's a little bit funny....I've seen his hudl recruiting stuff and he's amazing with the ball. He might shine as a DB but he's got skills the other way as well.
