actually, I really don't know how I feel about it all and probably ought to think about it some.
My best example is the TA Baseball board. It's a fantastic board. I read it often (though almost never post). But with a massive fanbase, we don't have anything like that for football. And I mostly blame the paysites for that bc TA used to be that way before Liucci bought in and before Rivals existed.
Now most pay not just for what they provide (and I'm cool with that) but to have reasonable fan discussions. I got a freeview to TA premium last year sometime and realized there is almost no value to what they provide (to me) but there were knowledgeable fans discussing Aggie football.
IMO we as Ags should reject this model. I shouldn't have to pay Looch or Tarp or Hamm to discuss A&M football. It's fan discussion ffs and it riles me that our own knowledgeable fans passively reinforce it by not posting things they know on free boards. I can't remember the last time Rivals broke shite but there are a ton of Rivals subscribers that religiously pay their $10/month to talk A&M because they like the community. But those same people could migrate here and have that discussion for free.
So I don't know how I feel about info flowing that way. I just don't want them profiting off of me while essentially stripping what was once free discussion away. But I'm not looking to protect info and it seems that's what I'm doing. So I'm conflicted

Top247 CB Holton Hill came in at 6-2/180 and ran a 4.56 electronic 40 at the Houston Nike Camp today. Big fan of his

RB Deunte Chapman posted a really good number. Some of you may know Deunte bc he (or a family member or something) posts on every single board trolling for offers. Surprised he isn't here actually

Sooo what's going on with our junior day?

you know, that's a good question. Did we cancel it? The Nike Combine is in the Woodlands so it would be a short trip for many. And prob pretty easy to get a ride. But I've heard absolutely nothing about it since last week

I'm just assuming it was canceled but its weird how absolutely nothing was said about it all week

He's only in the 89th percentile on the power ball. Needs improvement

btw, we saw Kirk Merrit's scores from yesterday but noticed his dad posted this the other day
Pretty interesting as not only is he a freak athlete, he has great measurables for a WR. Huge hands are something that set Jarvis Landry apart at the NFL combine. It's a big reason why he catches the ball so easily. Here were his numbers
Height/Weight - 5'11/205LBS
Arm length - 31.75 inches
Hand size - 10 1/4 inches
We are recruiting Merritt as a RB but I think he'd make a better H-WR. He's raw as a receiver for sure but he has electric speed and those numbers show huge hands and a tremendous wingspan. Really want this guy wherever he might play

Just used my Jarvis Landry comparison but that's Siverand really
The first thing everyone comments about him is not his measurables, but his great hands. Catches everything. He's an absolutely elite Y imo. But still, pretty good measurables too

That's what I've seen thrown around for him. Jarvis Landry. The thought of landing lodge, kirk, and siverand gives me all the feels

The WR classes we will have stacked will be insane. A really diverse set of skills too
