and FTR, god I hate that daddy poster on the 247 board. said his competition was "sucky" when he fricking goes to orange Lutheran who only plays in the fricking trinity league which is like one of the five fricking best divisions of high school football in the entire country. IIRC, they had a losing league record, and were still ranked in the top 25 of California at the end of the year IIRC. that's how good their division is

mater dei, servite, santa margarita are all powerhouses and that's before we touch on junopero serra and jon bosco who are no slouches either

that's the difference in California, for the most part, the private prep schools are the powers. not the large public schools. the only real power I can think of from the public schools is long beach poly

I know it was mentioned earlier in the thread but we have another JR Day this weekend. Moton and CB Henry Black (also from Shreveport Woodlawn) will be there. Their coach is bringing them along with Donovan Wilson.
