Yeah I agree. I would prefer Martin because I think he could start right away but if hill wants to commit this weekend we should take it.

I would think Hill Boyd and Martin are in a situation where the first two to commit get those two spots

This goes. Maybe we've just been lucky in years past though

We are recruiting at a higher level. The more coveted the recruit, the greater chance for drama.

Honestly I expect a good finish. Sumlin can recruit better than any A&M coach ever probably.

Pretty funny stuff tmc. I literally loled.

If Kyler wants to play in the crappy 12, I don't understand why he wouldn't chose TCU over Texas. TCU's offense is head and shoulders better than Texas'.

That's what's crazy, tu has the WORST offensive talent and coaching. It truly is where a QB's dreams will go to die. Why consider it at all?

Kyler's orange tie reminds me of Malik's orange dress shirt on December 19

Seriously though, I'm over it. The CB recruiting has me really stoked and our chances for Bussey look good. If Kyler were to flip, I would feel disappointed, but mostly angry that he did it so late and left us with zero options at QB. We shut down our QB recruiting completely. We could have flipped Stidham or gotten any number of other QBs. We are QBU under Sumlin. Getting another elite QB would not have been an issue. If the kid doesn't want to be an Ag - for whatever reason - that's his choice. We have so much talent... I'm extremely excited for 2015 and beyond.

I agree with you in principle, but I wanted one more crazy post out of RC before the rationality won out.

I feel the same way. I just having a hard time believing Kevin would let his boy leave us in a lurch like that.

If it happens, it happens. Kyle Allen is a stud and good for two more years. Just has to stay healthy.

The pre melt is getting out of hand I think- he hasn't decommitted, he won't hang Kirk out to dry like that, and he has been 'crootin for us for a while.

Even if Kevin Murray had some beef with Sumlin i can't imagine he would be so cross as to influence Kyler not just away from his alma mater, but to do it in the eleventh hour and to Texas.

Look, the fact of the matter is: 100% committed prospects don't take trips to other schools two weeks before NSD. They don't tweet pictures of other school's jerseys. There is something more here than just trolling, and Kyler has never been the trolling type. No one knows how big that "something" is. Could be really small and amount to nothing. Could end up being very problematic. Clearly, he's still currently committed; he's just not 100% committed.

What I'm saying is: we still got Kyle Allen (please keep him healthy), we are QBU, and we are addressing our needs at RB and CB. The talent that will be on campus in 2015 is probably unprecedented, and 2016 could even surpass that. The future is bright.
