This obviously isn't the reason why we took Wilson but it sure doesn't hurt our efforts with Moton

Are we more likely to turn to jamabo or hasty in the event of Nixon flipping to TCU?

It certainly doesn't hurt but I sort of think Moton is extremely impressionable. He committed on the spot to Miss St for crissakes. It sure sounds good right now but he's not one I'm going to mark in pen even if he commits at some point.

btw, our next JR Day will be Sunday, Feb 23.

OU had one yesterday and got no commits. tu will have one on Feb 22. I think we'll start to see more commits from all parties once they've seen a few of these.

Our targets that atteneded OU's JR day
- Connor Lanfear
- Toby Weathersby
- Connor Dyer
- SoSo Jamabo
- Kris Boyd

They offered Lanfear and Dyer yesterday (I believe the other 3 already had offers). Their next JR day is scheduled for March 1st.

I see that 2016 TE Kaden Smith has been offered.

yeah, we've offered 3 '16 guys now I think - Little, Jones, and Smith (last week). I believe we'll offer a handful more at the next JR day. We've also tossed out offers to a few kids in GA but I don't really count those

Probably in good shape with Smith but it's a loooong way to go.

He seems to like Bama at the moment. Said he didn't know too much about coach Hagen and the program but plans on going to JR day.

Hagen? Is that who we have on him? I figured it would be Beatty/Banks. I'm not really sure what Hagen's territory is though so maybe he has Fort Worth or something and they consider FM that area because he's bored waiting for a legitimate prospect in cowtown.

Beatty was the other name mentioned but not the lead.

Interesting

Beatty has the Dallas area. But he coaches WRs. Hagen coaches LBs. I would think if Hagen was lead, then Banks would be secondary as he coaches TEs/STs. Whatever, maybe those two just happened to be in the area so they stopped by.
