I really don't know on that. I think then Boyd could lose his spot. I think he's committing tomorrow though.

If they are both in, I think we'd have to say thanks but no thanks to Hill. The only guy that is getting a pass is Sheffield. It's like the Hasty/Bradford situation. We preferred Hasty but the difference was fairly negligible so first in gets the spot.

I mean I'm pretty sure you and Hamm don't have the same source since Hamms source seems to be the kids themselves

the kids themselves are sometimes bad sources. They often try to be coy to keep the sites from knowing. Hamm does a pretty good job of seeing through it though so I'll give him credit. Some like Passwaters are fricking clueless. They believe every word.

In Elam's case, I don't think he talks to media (or rarely does). Most everything is from "people who know him" which is why the CBs have been so shitty. Most of the people they are asking have agendas themselves and they aren't very good at reading between the lines.

Anyway, no I've never talked to Elam or anyone in Newton for that matter.

I'm getting confused. You think Boyd is committing tomorrow? or you talking about Elam?

I really like Elam so I hope we take him. It seems like he's more versatile than guys like DCS and Hill

Liucci has been adamant that we would take all four of Hill, Elam, Sheffield and Boyd if possible.

If we took all of them it would be so unreal.

I certainly wouldnt mind, both corner and safety will be sparse in 2015. We need as many bodies as we can get.

yeah and I know that Joseph ain't too happy with the hand he's been dealt. It's not that they are bad, it's that they are all tiny. In '15 our corners will be: Harris, Ellis, Sezer, Garner, Davis, Watts, and Harvey. Of those, only Davis is a legit 6'.

I think Harvey or Watts (or both) will be a safety. Ellis and Sezer are already only playing nickel. Basically it leaves Garner and Davis as your definitive corners (which is why they are running 2nd team now).

Bringing in 4 CBs would certainly help but I just can't see it. Someone would get nervous and decommit.

Yeah I'm really interested to see how the corner situation plays out in 2015. It seemed like we took a lot of small corners, not super excited for that to be confirmed.

Was his the last one or is there one left at every position? I thought I saw something about Charles omenihu tweeting he might get an invite soon.

I dunno. They are done with camps and now going back and filling out the roster. He's #140 and I think they take 150? I can't remember the total number but there are definitely very few spots left.
