That's like 25 lbs heavier than devante Harris was at this point of his senior summer. I wonder how he feels about tackling since he's found a spot at 7on7 corner.

He was supposed to be in this weekend I believe and never made it. I don't think he was ever really that interested in us to begin with.
It would still be great to have another body at LB. Maybe Sumlin needs to break out the choppa.

just reading Jordan Davis and Larry Pryor's tweets about Kris Boyd. I doesn't sound like they are having much luck reeling him in.

Ah okay. I haven't watched any of his film I just assumed with the speed they might want him as a slot. 188 can easily fill out to be a RB though

Hamm's putting out something today. It sounds like that Kyler Murray is not the lock that Aggies think he is.

Honestly, I like him and think he's a good fit for us. Here's his film.
I'd say he's our Rodney Anderson replacement. Despite his speed, when you watch him, he's a very physical runner. Never goes down on first contact. However, he doesn't seem to have an explosive first step like a Merritt. But he's a jack-of-all trades type. In the middle of his vid, they stop to show him block on 3-4 plays in a row. And he does not shy away from contact ever. Very good at finishing runs (always fighting forward).
So scouting report: very physical, one-cut back with great long speed. Runs with extraordinary power for his size and good balance making him extremely difficult to arm tackle. Doesn't flash football instincts all the time but is an excellent special teams player with a willingness to play wherever his coaches ask (full back). Hands are an unknown quantity (screens only in his highlights). If he fills out, he may be Terrell Davis (these are basically our RB plays)

nothing really. I just read Hamm's post (someone posted the whole thing on Shaggy). It doesn't surprise me really. Not to be overly cryptic but there is more going on under the surface than people realize. Hamm surely knows this but can't say it and I think some of the rationalization he's explaining is not really accurate. DM me
I personally still believe Kyler will end up at A&M but I've never considered him a slam dunk so it doesn't seem like much has really changed.

If he does indeed pick Oregon (obviously hoping he doesn't) where would we stand with other big time QB prospects? I know you've said Stidham is solid to Tech which is too bad. Just wondering who else we might be in on

My guess is on the 29th either Oregon or A&M offers Travis Waller and becomes the overwhelming leader for him. Banks has been checking on him and I'm pretty sure Spav had a phone conversation with him but we haven't offered yet. I think we'll probably offer either way but it won't happen til after Murray commits and he won't pay us much mind if Murray is in the fold.
