Thats great news to hear about Elam. Out of that group aside of Sheffield, I like him the most. I read somewhere as well that were still in the hunt for Xavier Lewis as well...although I'm not optimistic about that at all. I'd be mighty fine with Sheffield, Boyd, Elam at corner with Evans, Pryor, and Dunning at safety.

Coach Hagen was supposed to evaluate Deunte Chatman today but practice cancelled because of weather. His father says that he would commit to A&M if he gets an offer. Hopefully will here some good news tomorrow.

I'm not going to explain why, but don't pay much attention to Hamm when it comes to DB recruiting. However, anything he says about LBs, pay attention

I know Hamm's sources within our AD for the most part. It's not overly complicated but I'd rather not spell it out. If you think about it will probably realize why.

Finally, Boyd did ask Josh Walker for Sumlin's number today after school, so after his Twitter comments today following the A&M offer, he's certainly on "YESSIR" alert.

it's correct. He's simply not plugged into our DB situation. He was denying Boyd would get an offer anytime soon even this morning. I thought it would be ~June 1st before we made a decision on it, but my point is simply his DB info is coming entirely from the recruit side, not the coaching side.
Boyd is going to be onboard rather quickly if I had to guess.
