We may strike out on all of them but even if we do it won't be a tragedy. In order of importance I would say:

Young
Parker
Smith
McGraw

None are critical but all would be really nice. Our '15 Class is off to such a strong start it makes me feel much better about these last few slots. We may be looking at a Bama level Class for '15, we already have 4 Star/National 100 guys basically begging for an offer.

Young is the most likely of that group to walk in and start next year. Parker would be great because our DB's were so weak last year and you hate to have to gamble on how much improvement we will have. Smith is a nice get but is a likely RS and interior OL. McGraw is a nice add but not an elite talent.

If we only get Young I'll still be very happy.

We need to clise eith at least one of those or a suprise flip imo. Great class even if we don't but in my mind it's a momentum thing.

I keep trying to hint at it but I'll just say it. This class isn't done. Fact.

Damn. I don't think we really had a chance with him, but it would have been nice.

Was Nixon overrated, or just too specific of a talent set? I mean I enjoyed his film, and thought there was def. a place for him, but his offer list was sorry. Was he rated a 94 because he was committed to us? Just seems 94 is high for someone with 1 great offer, 2 good offers, and like 3-4 bad offers.

He wouldn't be the first overrated player from Lake Travis (Garrett Gilbert), but he's a legitimate back.

Think of a faster version of Ben Malena.

Ben Malena offer list

>>>>>>>>>>>>

Varshaun Offer list

Malena was either a much more respected running back by coaches, or twice the student. Either way it doesn't look like we are going to be hurting in the RB dept for a while.

It STILL took Cyrus Gray and Christine Michael both having season-ending injuries for Ben Malena to get meaningful playing time.

Nixon flipping has everything to do with not liking his prospects both in front of him (Williams x2, Carson, White) and behind him (Anderson, Bradford).

Liucci confirmed this morning that Nixon was a grade risk and we didnt really fight him once he started looking around.
