Panic Level on the rant? DEFCON 2

If we beat A&M this weekend, it's going to DEFCON 1. The narrative changes with each VOLS win. First it was App State, then Va Tech, then Florida, and then UGA. We were going to be "lucky" to go 1-3 in this stretch. Now we are worst case 2-2. My god if Dobbsy goes crazy again.

Sometime mid-4th quarter in the UGA game, Danielson started seriously creaming over Dobbs' growth as a QB, saying he could do pretty much anything with the offense.
Then a bit later, with Mr. Jennings' help he did.
So it is going to be an interesting couple of weeks.
Just pretty freaking awesome.

Its really fricking strange. Obviously I want VOLS to win this weekend but I also deep down kind of hope Bama beats Arky so we can have an undefeated, likely top 5 TSIO. Can you fricking imagine the hype for that?
The Alabama posters otoh have been extremely vocal with their support of A&M, even tho a Tennessee win Saturday would give Bama a major cushion in the West.
I think they were almost as mad as Georgia posters otb when the Dobbnail Boot happened

I think Bama losing to Arkansas would be the worst possible thing for us, the last thing we need is a pissed off Bama team coming to Neyland. They don't lose 2 straight under Saban

A top 5 TSIO would be fricking glorious and I'd legitimately feel like a kid again with Tennessee being back to the elite. Can you imagine the rant if we beat undefeated A&M and Bama in back to back weeks to go #1?

Even if we are 5-1 one it's going to be a hornets nest. If we drop A&M that damn 'bama game becomes most important. I wouldn't mind seeing it play out like this - We drop A&M (did I just say that?), beat 'bama and see A&M win the West. Bingo - we get our rematch with the goat wranglers but this time - hopefully JRM and Kirkland are back.
