It just feels empty. No regular season title, no tourney title, underachieved in the big dance. I mean it gave us some great games but to me it feels worthless. So we were #1 for a month and won 31 games. Big whoop. I want hardware. This did nothing to dispel the rep of Barnes to underachieve. I don't want him fired by any means but we've got to improve on this next season.

It just confirms what we’ve been told all along. We looked like shite in all 3 games, following an awful showing last year.
This is our ceiling with Barnes and it is what it is. He’ll retire in 4-5 years, and hopefully we’re in good enough shape to attract another good coach

The state of our athletics is pretty dismal
Though I will say, as bad as football has been, we have seen some good Tennessee basketball this century. We used to be absolutely terrible.

On another note, I know this is something none of us want to hear, but it is suspected Grant Williams is graduating in May. If that is true, I wish the best for him. I will miss that guy in orange.
I'm hoping for the best next season- we have some promising recruits coming in. I think our MBB program will remain in the top 5 of the SEC for the next several years.

He said in his pre-game introduction Thursday that he is graduating this May. Doesn't mean he's leaving or staying.

Not sure I could disagree more tbh. Basketball is good, baseball looking better, and football is slowly getting better. It’s obvious we are paying croots again. Hell even golf seems to be doing pretty well.
Women’s sports doing alright with Ralph and Karen leading the softvols, looks like womerns basketball finna make an elite hire. I think i remember seeing T&F coach is doing a solid job.
The Battle Captain is turning things around overall.
