They are at .500 right now. I mean, not great, but he is coaching at Tx Tech and he is a native son of theirs.

If Rich Rod gets fired this season I'd bet money that he's the first person CBJ calls for the OC position.

I think so too. They've worked together before and the offenses are similar. Rich Rod may struggle as a head coach but he knows how to run a good offense. I don't know if he will get fired this year but if he does I'd bet money that he'd not only get the call but that he'd also likely take the job.

Hm, yeah looking at his record it's not great enough to where I think he stays more than a year or so but i can see if he has ties to the program they give him more time.

I don't know. But would he be interested in one of the other conferences just to remain a head coach?
