Is this an elaborate ruse to get Currie fired?

So a while back, someone was circulating a theory about a changing of the guard amongst the boosters. Somehow, Charlie Ergen had been pulling strings and pushing the Haslams out. Supposedly, Currie was the Haslams last ditch effort to maintain control of UTAD. I'm trying to find it on twitter but I'm struggling. Maybe someone here can assist.

Perhaps the current boosters pushed Schiano, knowing we would revolt and call for Currie's head. This is the final step in extricating ourselves from the Haslams.

I might believe this if it wasn't widely known that Ergen is notoriously cheap and still flies economy. I just have a hard time believing he would invest in VOLS.

I would love for someone to come along and supplant the Haslams. They are the worst boosters ever.
