Who do you think will be that diamond in the rough from this years class. Butch seems to have talent for finding hidden gems.

I'd love to say Latrell '4.27' Williams, but I can't see a WR being a gem with this offense.

That's who I was thinking, but I have no confidence in Azzani, whatsoever

But my God, this kid has speed LINK

I hope that place kicker.. I miss the days of knowing Hall was coming in and not worrying about a 40 yarder.

I agree with Williams and also think Byrd will be a star for us although I don't think he qualifies as a hidden gem. Both were great steals from Miami. Richt has got to absolutely hate Butch right now (was a major reason he got fired from UGA and is now stealing recruits out from under him at the U. Richt is probably downright paranoid about CBJ right about now. ).

Medley? He should get better. He was the number 1 kicker when he was signed. It was frustrating as hell to see him flake out on us this past season but the good news is that he's more than capable of making those kicks talent wise -- he just has to put it together between the ears. Hopefully, he's over his 'bad Palardy' phase.

Buchanan
and
Niehaus

Don't really consider Williams a hidden gem. Underrated? Yes

agreed but we usually had comfortable leads the second half of the season. He seems to choke a lil bit when the pressure is on I.E. big games early in the season. Hopefully he'll prove me wrong next year.

sorry know this is off the thread topic

If you're referring to the potential game winning kick in the Florida game there's no way that was a choke. It was like a 55 yarder and he hit it as good as anyone could, just barely missed it

I don't think that's what he was talking about, it might just be the most impressive miss I've ever seen

Might've been Priest. One of them yelled that it was good.

And on the topic of radio, I really wish UT would've snagged Mike Keith instead of Kesling.

Ehhh I like Keith but he just seems to obnoxious to be a college guy, Kesling has grown on me a lot and I like that he isn't a HUGE homer like a lot of the college guys

If you are ever forced to listen to Kellum for Ole Miss you will understand, makes me nearly vomit

Why wouldn't you want a homer doing the radio broadcast? Local broadcasts of college games is one of the few times I absolutely want a homer

John Ward was a huge homer

Idk just personal preference I guess, and if course I want them to be somewhat of a homer just not completely over the top which is what Kellum is and what I'm afraid Keith would be
