Such a very strange situation. If he can't regularly finish 10-2 to 12-0 at LSU, will be the wrong decision.

But it's nice that wrong decisions result in millions in your bank account.

LSU no matter who the coach has never really won at that level.

They have only had a couple of 10 win regular seasons in the last 20 years.

One in the last decade

That'll get him fired at LSU, considering the expectations.

He'll be the highest paid coach, or at least one of (I doubt Day and Smart stay behind him until he actually wins something), so the expectations would be more than a national title and some good seasons. You pay that much, you are expecting regular semifinal appearances at the worst.

Kiffin isn’t Kelly. Kiffin will have a lot more leeway at LSU.

Why? He'd be getting paid a LOT more.

Theres a big difference in LSU being bad and boring.

Being bad and entertaining is way better. Lane never has bad offense.

BK LSU teams are...miserable to watch. This last one makes you want to quit the sport.

Oh you mean go to the playoff? That thing Brian Kelly never did and moved farther away from each year he was here?

No one at LSU is gonna be satisfied with a couple of playoff appearances in his first four seasons with what you're paying him. He'd have to make at least one deep run, if not two.
