I live in Louisiana and follow LSU as closely as their own fanbase.
Hear me now and believe me later. They're utterly devastated by this loss and have zero understanding of where Ole Miss sits these days.
All this it's their superbowl" bullshite is a straight up lie they're living. When was the last time LSU was any teams "super bowl"? LSU just doesn't carry that sort of gravitas any longer.

I hear you but I’m telling you the loss just isn’t that bad for LSU fans. It was in no way our souped up bowl. I would like to once again congratulate you on your victory and wish you the best for the remainder of this season.

Hard for them to accept that since Covid they are on the same level as many teams they perceived as lesser than them. Maybe kiffin will take them back. I can't say for certain but as of now. Teams like Ole Miss and others to be fair have been as successful not only in wins but in brand image.

The actual LSU team fought back and gave us a hell of a fight. Their fans were almost not even there. Not near as many as we’ve always seen over the years. I didn’t hear the tiger band one time I didn’t hear their cheers. I didn’t hear any of the things that make LSU cool.

Look I’m not trying to be an arse. But in brand recognition? No way. I travel all over the world. I see LSU shite everywhere. Bama shite too unfortunately. I can count on one hand the number of times I’ve seen ole Miss fans/ gear/ etc.
