“[insert fanbase] always bitching about the refs”

We go round and round.
LSU fans complain, other fanbases laugh.
Then your fanbase gets screwed, and you wonder why you don’t get sympathy.
IDEA:
WHY DON’t WE STOP TROLLING EACH OTHER… ACCEPT THAT EVERYONE HAS A LEGITIMATE GRIPE…
And demand that the SEC MUST MAKE A CHANGE… at the very fricking least they can do what the ACC and the BIG10 do and make the ref’s calls public on the broadcast.
So instead of going in circles with insulting each other, we should focus the energy towards the real problem at the conference leadership…

Alabama is in a different class. This should never happen to us

Most of the calls LSU fans bitch about are actually correct calls for the record.

Okay then demand the SEC make the officials speak over the broadcast like other modern conferences

Okay so we’ll get nowhere then
Yall cant break the habit

Well that was a given anyway.
But what I said is true.
Take the Devin White thing. LSU fans blamed Alabama even though we weren't even in the game, put billboards up and all that....when it was the correct call.
LSU got shut out 29-0 IIRC...might have the year off.
Patrick Peterson was in bounds...but the ball was not.
etc.

So you’re not interested in calling for changes?
…
Because you like certain penalties against LSU

Valid. I think more threads were created from LSU fans about officiating.

90% of complaints against refs are from fans who don't understand the rules.
I'd love to address the other 10%, but it would be even better if we could clear up the 90% first.

Clear them up by making the ref discussions public over broadcast

The ball is out of bounds/dead when it touches anything, including a player, that is out of bounds.
Julio Jones was out of bounds and touched the ball before Peterson caught it.
So yes Peterson was in bounds, but the ball was not and thus an incomplete pass is the correct call.
Pay attention to Julio, he's out of bounds and is touching the ball before it's a catch.

Fine with me. I would love to have perfectly called games.
But I don't know how you are going to help people who think near every play is hold that doesn't get called etc.
Holding and pass interference are probably the worst 2.

Because they have huge outsized impact on the game and are entirely subjective.
You can completely control the outcome of a game by never calling holding, and have complete plausible deniability.

How are you going to fix that though.
And can we at least acknowledge the majority of fans don't actually understand what a hold is? I constantly see people claim hold on things that aren't holds. Then get mad about how the refs are terrible, etc.

Just making up shite as usual.

You can either understand the rule or keep crying about a correct call.
Julio is clearly out of bounds and touching the ball. The ball is out of bounds the instant that happens, and it happens before Peterson gets his foot down for extra measure.

No. You’re a disingenuous homer moron.

LSU fans will never admit it. Your entire identity is based on it to some degree at this point.
But I showed you the screen shots from that video that highlight it.
Do you dispute the rule that a ball is out of bounds the moment it touches something is out of bounds?
Do you dispute that Julio is out of bounds?
Do you dispute that Julio touched the ball before Peterson's foot hit the ground? And before Peterson catches it also, but that's not even actually needed.
What part is it that you dispute?
Is it possible you are the homer moron?
