Four team playoff would have been tricky this year

Ohio State and Indiana are going to meet as undefeated 1 vs 2, winner will be in. Loser probably still in as well?
If A&M wins out that's another clear spot. Who would get the #4 spot in this scenario? I get the feeling they would try to shoehorn in 1 loss Texas Tech over Georgia to avoid it being all Big Ten vs SEC.
If Alabama beats A&M things get even more weird. Seems like you have to put Alabama in and then who gets the last spot? Texas Tech? A&M anyway?

It's always Notre Dame. Any time there is confusion, ND will get the nod

Michigan could easily win vs OSU. Cheating or not

If ND had 1 loss they would likely be the team to steal a spot from a more deserving, but with 2 losses they couldn't justify putting them over multiple 1 loss teams including other conference champs.
The crazy thing is that 2 Big Ten and 2 SEC teams would look like a very real possibility.
