Honest question - who could (or would) Florida hire that's better at this point? Napier seems like he has his players in his corner and playing hard for him, and despite the Lagway injury, on an upward trajectory.
You fire your coaching staff and lose pretty much everyone that matters, at least a majority of your players that make you competitive right now with that upward trajectory. The SEC will be an even bigger mess next year than this year, and having your core contributors back will be huge for any team in the league.
Why would you want to reset all of that with yet another unknown coaching staff?
Eugene Wilson is rumored to be going to Oregon, or some other team, in the portal since Napier doesn't know how to utilize him,.
There's really no guarantee these guys would stay for Napier and even quite a bit to suggest that some key contributors will leave if Napier comes back.

The Napier Experiment is over and time to move on.

I'll agree he's done some good adding some pieces to the roster, and has done some good things on the back end of convincing the UAA to invest
more into the program with staff etc.
Despite all the resources, the team is a hot mess under him, but he has convinced the admin to stop being so cheap like Foley always wanted them to be.
However, he just doesn't seem to have the ability to do much with what he was able to get implemented at Florida. He was in the Sun Belt, but it seems like this level of coaching moves too fast for him and he has hit his ceiling.
You say that as if Napier has ever won a big game...
But to answer your question,
Cignetii, Kiffin, maybe Lashlee. Although one of the first two would probably pick up the call.

Who are they going to hire to replace him?
Kiffin? The guy who has never once in his entire career won a big game

If he had hired a legit OC this past offseason, I think the fanbase would be more receptive to giving him one more year. But he made his own bed.
You can hire our offensive coordinator.
