His name surfaced on our end a couple days ago. Very very odd we'd be after a JUCO WR considering we just took 3 big time talents at WR and have a very deep WR corps. I think our plan is to sign just 2 WRs this class.

But he's from Louisiana so they maybe had their eye on him since high school and like how he progressed in JUCO so far. If he's cant miss, gotta take him.

A lot of good WRs are giving LSU a serious look, the summer camps should be interesting. But at the moment Guidry, Mannie Netherly, and Ceedee Lamb seem to be trending towards LSU.

Pretty much all the staff is looking at right now. An update the other day on 247 said they were pressing like 4 different guys and all were at least 6'2.

This all being said, hard to imagine us signing 3 JUCOs, we are after Buggs, Valentine and maybe now this guy.

Buggs and Valentine are cant miss type of talents which is why we're looking hard at them, Guidry is interesting because he didnt really surface up as a big talent until this year, and he hasn't even played since high school. He was at McNeese State last fall and redshirted?

We are losing our 2 best guys after this year. It's not a bad idea to get a more polished player to help ease the loss.

Yeah and we have a ton of ultra talented guys to replace Dupre and Dural. Dont really need a JUCO at all, but like i said, if he's a top line cant miss talent, then he should be a take.

We still have:
Chark
Johnson
Ferguson
Gage
Dillion
Davis
Sullivan
Anderson

That's a ridiculous amount of talent returning for 2017.

Expect Mississippi State to be in this one until the end.

Where are you seeing Netherly trending towards LSU? He has been pretty solid to A&M throughout his commitment to us... Only thing that I see causing an issue in his commitment status to A&M is if Martell flips to tOSU or something.

That's what Hamm has written, when Martell decommits, Netherly would be one of the first to follow

Gotcha.. so LSU would likely be his landing spot if he were to decommit in reaction to the more than likely Martell flip. I would agree with that, but hopefully we can hang on to him obviously.

I'm not sure what his likely destination would be, but we have been pushing him and he's visited a few times in the last couple months. We have to be really careful on WRs this class because we really only need like 2, maybe 3 at most. They are going to hold out a spot for Devonta Smith in state because he's cant miss although as long as Sam Pittito is at Alabama he'll head there.

As did LSU, now things are heating up

This guy is a complete enigma, he hasn't played a down of football since high school and he went to McNeese State out of high school where he redshirted where he was a partial qualifier trying to get eligible.
