Vols hire men's basketball coach Michael White. Thoughts?

Seems very solid. 26+ wins each of the last two seasons. Two conference titles and coach of the year his first year in conference USA.

Did an awesome job at LA Tech but I think like Johnny Jones it's a huge roll of the dice hire.

Some UT poster posted on the Mizzou board (Tigerboard, not here) that White turned down UT because of the buy out clause. Apparently would rather wait and take the OM gig. No idea how reliable that UT poster is, but he's not one to come on the Mizzou board just running his mouth.
