I didn’t think we were allowed to do this? This board and twitter told us were stuck with all our 3 stars in the class and couldn’t improve our average?

So which is it? Tenner has great #2 ranked class now - OR - we are going to drop all the 3-stars to upgrade it?

Like weve been saying all along, its both. We picked up some great recruits lately, we are in the running for more elite players in this cycle, and we will continue to cull the lower rated players to make room for better ones. It doesn't have to be black and white extremes. You are whats wrong with society today

No sir....taking a boatload of commits that Pruitt & Co hope to not honor is what is wrong with society. It happens on all teams here and there but to overload commitments systematically that a staff doesn’t want to honor - hope it backfires.

Maybe, but I don't think so. These recruits are being sold on the idea of being the kids to bring VOLS back to greatness. Its a window that a new coach can sell for a couple years (this is probably the last cycle we can do it). 8-4 would be an OK year, not great but as long as Pruitt continues to show player development and coaching ability then I think wed be ok. 7 wins or less is where we would start to see some problems IMO because that would mean losing to a bad team.

By backfire, I mean it is only about as good as last years class, top 8-10, rather than an elite class.

The season is going to push this thing one way or the other and it's going to be hard to stop it either way once it gets rolling.
