I really hope Tennessee fans think they have a shot with Brown and Hardman.

Tennessee is the superior program. Wouldn't shock me at all to see either choose the Vols.

UT fans truly are living in a dreamland, If Jones does not win the East next yr I'm not sure it's going to happen for him. With the 2 deep the Vols are returning they are not only the favorite to come out of the east but probably the pick to win the SEC. We all know Butch can recruit, next yr we will find out if he can coach.

I mean, how can anyone argue that? Georgia is a very good program no doubt and There's no shame in being behind a blueblood like Tennessee.

That decade of irrelevance sure didn't hinder perception.

eah, I'd say so.

Yeah, I'm sure Brown and Hardman are gonna choose UT over UGA because of one more win overall.

I don't think he said that. That was more of a retort to the UGA posters on here that laugh at the thought of Tennessee beating you guys out for a recruit. Seems like you guys are selling the back to back East recruiting champs a little short.

UT will be the favorite to win the East next year. Beat UGA head to head this year and will finish ranked higher in the polls. Tennessee also has a more storied past.

Facts.

UT has recruited as well or better in a lot of areas the last few years. We have lost a decent amount of recruits to them head to head, especially WRs.

Even with all that, we have been the better program by a wide margin, and even the loss in Knoxville was by the slimmest of margins.

No one goes to UT or UGA because of past championships, those are so far gone they are irrelevant. An unfortunate fact for us both.

When's the last time the favorite won the East?

As they should be. No more excuses for Butch, but I have a feeling the great people of Knoxville will be calling for his head by the end of the year.

I also think UT wins the east. If they don't, I don't see how the can justify keeping butch. The guy has been building and building and done so around one of the best quarterbacks in the league. Things could not possibly be set up any better than they will be next year.
