Surprisingly, the only SEC Commit on the list is Bobby Taylor.

It seemed like every time you looked up on Saturday, it was Bobby Taylor making a play. The Texas A&M commit, who plays his football at the Texas powerhouse that is Katy, was excellent on the outside in 1-on-1 coverage. He used his length to break up multiple passes and wasn't fazed when tested in time after time in the red zone. Taylor also picked off multiple passes and should have honestly been credited with one or two more takeaways had he been able to hang onto the ball.

Stock up for Evers

Another three-star quarterback who showed he deserves a rankings bump is Nick Evers. He was in our top group every day and finished No. 11 in our final rankings.

There’s a lot to like about him as a prospect including his frame, arm talent and one of the two or three quickest releases in the event. His ball placement and accuracy on his throws down the field were also some of the best we saw at the event.

He’s a fluid athlete who’s comfortable throwing on the run and from different arm angles. He looked comfortable, no matter the setting and when you add it all to his profile, which includes a strong junior season and an athletic 6-3 frame, there’s a lot to like about the future Gator.

quote:

- Texas A&M commit Conner Weigman just looks like a gamer and the kind of guy you want in your huddle. He doesn’t have the prettiest motion with a little Phillip Rivers arm action to him, but he’ll make the big throws when you need them and just looks like he has the clutch gene that you want on your side.

quote:

- Ty Simpson should be fun to watch develop at Alabama as well. He's one of those guy who may not wow you in any one area but does everything well. Like we said with Pyron, Simpson's overall makeup and intangibles are off the charts. Over the last year he has improved his arm strength, already has very good mobility and his ability to extend plays (someone you can't showcase at this event) are as good as you'll see in this year's class.

Humphrey Wins Fastest Man

- Florida commit Julian Humphrey won the fastest man competition with a 4.38-40 over a stacked field. Domani Jackson, who just clocked a 10.25-100m two weeks earlier and Rodrick Pleasant, who ran a 10.32 in the same final, were also in the race.

What made that time even more impressive was everyone had to run out of a two point stance instead of the traditional three-point stance you see in track. The turf field they ran on was so slick, that they had to run the race three times because everyone kept slipping at the start, which is what made them go out of a two-point stance to begin with.

Humphrey showed he’s more then just straight line fast, he was good during the 7v7 play as well and showed why he’s among the nation’s top corner prospects.

I think so too. Hopefully, Jimbo gets back on him and goes for the flip.
