What is the 2017 qb sucking based on, apparently rivals and 247 think he's the best in the country. I'm assuming because he can't lead a team with no other division 1 prospects to a state championship.

He plays with a RB who is committed to a Big10 school, His stats stink and his team is 4-11 over the past 2 seasons.

Mike Farrell thinks he's awesome, 247 thinks he's awesome, I guess scout and ESPN do as well because he's the composite #1 qb. I'd how to evaluate qbs, that's why I goto sites like this. By your measurement Justin Worley should have been the best qb we've ever had. I don't think he lost a game in high school and was the Gatorade player of the year. I'm not saying there isn't a chance he might not love up to the hype but 4 or 5 different companies that make their paychecks evaluating talent and no telling how many coaches that have offered the guy a scholarship disagree with your opinion.

Yeah I will take the good HS players over bad HS players. Sure every once in a blue moon a guy who wasn't good in HS becomes a player in college but overall I will take that as my litmus test over Mike Farrell's opinion based on... a camp?
Also the "services" make their pay checks selling subscriptions not evaluating talent.

You could be right, I hope not but it's possible. The kid does, at least by his profile have an offer from about 30 division 1 schools including michigan and is only a junior in high school so people in the know at least tend to agree. Also you can't use that "they sell subscriptions" argument to that level. If that were the case they would have zero credibility and would cancel the whole subscription thing out. Alabama would have never signed a 3 star.

The IMG team only practiced for two weeks. Shea had two TD's called back. Not bad for a first game.....let them play now. Totally different outcome.

Either one of these guys would be decent back ups for Grier if Treon transfers, both are probably behind Allen in 17 but have decent shot since they would have more experience.
