I love finding out I'm weiner cousins with someone. A girl I schtooped in college is getting married. Does that make me her husbands super weiner cousin?

Agree. Dansby is on the field for 3 downs whereas Ryans is often only on the field for 1st & 2nd down.
It's not a slam on Dansby. He's a very good LB. Ryans has just had the better career to date.
(not entirely unrelated, I saw AU play UNC in the Atlanta one year when I was over there for New Year's. Dansby had an incredible int jumping out of bounds and threw the ball back in to a teammate before landing. it was one of the more athletic plays I've ever seen an LB make)

You are trying to compare two LBs who don't play the same role in the defense using a single statistic.
Menzie had more tackles & INTs than Kirkpatrick. He was clearly better last year.

oh ok. so the guys with fewer stats are the stronger players and the guys who are not as good make all the tackles. gotcha
