To suggest that he left Auburn because of lack of discipline is straight up funny. That's why he went out and brought Michael Dyer in right?
It's also why he kicked him out as soon as he messed up. You can laugh all you want, but that was one of the biggest issues Malzahn had with Chiz.

Are you saying no other "strict" coaches have brought in players that have gotten into trouble in their past?

This isn't the fricking rant guys. I'm not doing this anymore.
Congrats on the pick up.
He's as talented a WR as you will ever find. The sky is the limit if he can keep his head on straight. I'll be interested to see if he can.

Sorry we found your point baseless and lacking substance.

His point was you guys say Gus left because of discipline issues with AU, yet he takes in one of the biggest discipline problems at AU.

alright numb nuts.

And he was the only one to leave. He had problems with the lack of accountability and discipline, and did not see eye to eye with Gene. That's why he took a paycut to get out

I'm saying that a "strict coach", those are your words, wouldn't make it one of his first priorities to bring in Michael Dyer to his program.
I'm saying that Gus didn't leave Auburn because he disagreed with with Gene about player discipline. I guess that's the new story now that you all have to go by.
I'm not saying Gus won't be the opposite of Chizik in terms of player discipline. I said I don't think that DW will find enough structure and discipline at any college program. The assertion that Auburn is now a new place for the type that need that structure and discipline is way premature imo because of what Gus has shown in the past... kind of like bringing Michael Dyer.

No, if I remember right the media found out about a police report and made it public then Gus booted him.

I don't know the whole story, but how did they find out about the gun and weed if it wasn't in the report?

so you bring up the fact that Auburn isn't the right place for him b/c of discipline, then you take the high road?...
