I still say he's not a good recruiter. I never said AJ is going one place or another but I did comment on how much he liked Chris Wilson.
MSU is coming off a good and an OK past two seasons while we're coming off shitty ones. Add that to the fact that we only have one coach that is still on the team from the previous administration and even he couldn't recruit for about a month because it took us that long to re-hire him.
Freeze hasn't shown anyone if he's a good recruiter or a bad one yet on the pure fact that he's only had one month to recruit. I'll concede Richie because, like I said, he strikes me as someone who really thinks long and hard about a decision and sticks with it. AJ Jefferson is still in the air.......especially if Merlins' still holds to his "if you still take visits, you're not committed to us" policy.

Never had a good feeling about Richie but I thought we had a chance with AJJ because yall said wouldn't take him if he wanted to come there.

It's a known fact State recruits much better the year after a bowl game. This time is no different.
Where I think you are wrong is that with constant bowl trips- Mullen will indeed string some recruiting classes together and do something with it.

he didnt till this weekend- we dropped another target to make sure and lock Richie down- I dont see what you are missing there.
Coonass also said we would close with the Brown twins and Liggins...looks like 2 of the 3 so far are on board

How old is Bundy? Bundy tries so hard to be in the know and pass info that he allowed himself to be used. The only one he should be pissed at is himself. Bundy is like a leaf in the wind. He has been on and off Merlins bandwagon ever since he has been the coach.
When Bundy starts to form his own opinions and have the balls to stand by them, he will be better off. Yes sometimes you get it wrong, but you can't be afraid to be wrong sometimes, it happens. This post by coonass is pathetic, and appears to be talking about a 10 yr old.

I remember one of your biggest suck-off points of Merlins is he never loses to a team MSU is favored to beat. Sorry.....no one is scared of him.
